POST A JOB WITH WORKINTEXAS.COM
Before You Begin
Allow Time - To create an Employer account you will need approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete the necessary steps.
 
Be Prepared - You will need one of the following to begin the process:
1. TWC Tax ID
2. FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number)
3. WorkInTexas.com Employer ID
 
If you do not have any of these contact your nearest career center for registration assistance.
Getting Registered
1. Go to Workintexas.com
 
2. Click the "Free Registration" Button
 
 
3. Select one of the registration options. If you do not have any of these, please contact your nearest workforce center for assistance.
 
 
4. Read the User Agreement and click "I Accept".
 
5. Complete the Create Logon Screen. Please write down your UserID and Password.
 
 
6. Complete the Create Employer Account Screen.
 
 
7. Review the User Permissions screen and make note of your Employer ID.
 
 
8. Review the User Permissions screen and make note of your Employer ID.
 
 
How to Post a Job
1. From the WorkinTexas.com homepage click: "logon as employer", and enter your UserID and Password and click LOGON.
 
 
2. From your employer home page click on the "Post/Match Jobs" link at the top of the page.
 
 
3. Click "add new Job Posting" from the left navigation menu.
 
4. Complete the "Basic Job Posting" screen. Be sure to complete the "Pay, Benefits, and Work Week Details by clicking on the hyperlink.
 
 
 
5. Click the "Computer Skills" link if you need to add additional computer skills.
 
6. Click the "Custom Questions for Job Seekers" if you have additional questions you need answered.
 
7. Click the "Matching Options" link to create "and/or" conditions of acceptable experience for the job.
 
8. Click the "Additional Details" link to add or change information required or desired for the job that has not been addressed anywhere else.
 
9. Click the "Add Occupations" link to add or change additional occupations for the job posting.
